The Manufacturing Production Painter is responsible for preparing, priming, and painting a variety of metal and/or plastic components used in our production process. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality and durability of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and masking as required
• Apply primer, paint, and coatings using spray guns or other equipment
• Ensure painted surfaces meet quality standards and specifications
• Maintain painting equipment and ensure proper storage of materials
• Follow safety protocols and proper use of PPE
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to ensure throughput and quality targets are met

Requirements

• Familiarity with both solvent and water-based paints
• 1+ year(s) of industrial or automotive painting experience preferred
• Familiarity with automatic and manual painting equipment and techniques
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Basic understanding of safety and OSHA regulations
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or paint specs
