We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Venice, Florida. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the dept, ensuring smooth operations and efficient management of tasks. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at multitasking while maintaining accuracy.


Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary administrative support for the dept, handling a variety of tasks to facilitate departmental efficiency.

• Coordinate and manage multiple calendars by scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.

• Document and distribute meeting minutes, ensuring follow-up on assigned action items.

• Assist with administrative tasks related to training programs, including tracking and organization.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations while performing duties.

• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and job-related training, such as cGMP.

• Maintain accurate and organized records for departmental use.

• Address inbound calls professionally and provide necessary information or assistance.

• Perform receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and managing inquiries.

• Support data entry tasks to maintain updated and precise documentation.

• A MUST: Scientific background of some sort - education or work experience

• Proficiency in managing schedules, calendars, and meeting coordination.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting and distributing information.

• Familiarity with training and performance improvement processes.

• Knowledge of company policies and regulatory compliance, including safety standards.

• Competence in data entry with a high level of attention to detail.

• Ability to handle inbound calls and receptionist duties with professionalism.

• Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation.
