Data Entry Specialist - Rosemont, IL

$22-$25/Hour (Plus time and a half overtime)

We are a well-known leader in the supply-chain industry seeking a Data Entry Specialist. As our company is growing rapidly, we are looking for someone to immediately join our team! The main responsibility of the position is to assist our operations team by processing and collecting records, entering data, and verifying accuracy of data. We need someone who will take initiative and has outstanding administrative, organizational, and time management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits
  • Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking output
  • Scanning and uploading documents into database
  • Communicating with various departments to obtain further information for incomplete documents

Data Entry Clerk Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associates Degree is required, Bachelors Degree is preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft applications (specifically Excel)
  • Prior office experience is preferred but not required
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
