Job DescriptionJob Title: Manual Machinist
We are seeking a skilled Manual Lathe Machinist to operate Warner, Swasey, or J&L manual lathes. You will be responsible for performing rough outs and finishing parts such as couplings, flanges, pipe fittings, piping connections, and drill collars. The parts you work on will range from 2"-70" OD, with the majority being within 26" OD. You will primarily machine carbon and stainless steel, but occasionally work with inconel and aluminum. Machine setup will also be required.
Essential Skills
- 4+ years of experience with manual lathes.
- Proficiency in performing rough outs.
- Operate Warner, Swasey, or J&L manual lathes.
- Perform rough outs and finish parts.
- Experience in machine setup and manual machining.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, open-aired shop on the 3rd shift from 10pm-6am, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
