Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Revenue Cycle Analyst to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. This contract-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and management of revenue integrity processes within a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in revenue cycle operations, medical billing, and system optimization to ensure accurate and efficient financial practices.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and address revenue integrity risks through regular monitoring and assessments.
• Collaborate with management teams to maintain and improve charge description master (CDM) activities using integrated revenue cycle applications.
• Mentor and evaluate team members to support their growth and ensure effective performance.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings to review progress on work plans and address reactive tasks.
• Prepare detailed reports for leadership on program progress, corrective actions, and recommendations for improvement.
• Educate staff on revenue assurance needs and reimbursement issues identified through audits and data analysis.
• Monitor and identify potential areas of lost revenue, implementing strategies to mitigate risks.
• Design and oversee the development of training programs focused on revenue integrity.
• Optimize organizational structures to align CDMs with current industry best practices.• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in a medical group practice or hospital business office within a large healthcare system.
• Proven expertise in revenue integrity, revenue cycle operations, surgical nursing, hospital coding, or revenue cycle informatics.
• Familiarity with Epic or Cerner software preferred.
• Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes, billing functions, and medical claims.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues related to lost revenue and reimbursement.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with management and staff.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead teams with attention to detail.
