Position: Assemblers
Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd Shift
Hours:
1st Shift: 5:00am – 3:30 pm
2nd Shift: 4:30pm – 6:00pm
Pay Rate: $18.75 -$19.25 /hour + Paid Training + Bonus Opportunities
Opportunity Type: Long-Term with Direct Hire Potential
Location: Plymouth, MN 55442

**All training is conducted on first shift. Candidates must be flexible to attend training regardless of their assigned shift.**


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, repair, and test medical devices (e.g., pacemakers, ICDs, leads) within a manufacturing cell following standardized procedures
  • Utilize microscopes and precision tools (e.g., tweezers, cutters) to handle small components to perform detailed fine-motor tasks.
  • Perform assembly and inspection of small components in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Use microscopes and precision tools to assemble and inspect parts to specification
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
  • Casting/Coating functions
  • Performs Mechanical Assembly functions
  • Performs Packaging Functions
  • Kits, assembles, and packages devices and related accessories using applicable tools
  • Kits, assembles, bonds, coats, and processes medical devices and related parts using microscopes and applicable tools
  • Locates and corrects problems by examining devices and components and visually inspecting parts/assemblies
  • Repairs and corrects devices and related components using microscopes and applicable tools
  • Examines medical devices and related assemblies after molding operations to locate bubbles, nicks and/or excess epoxy
  • Utilizes small drills, reamers, taps, and knives to access bubbles and remove excess epoxy
  • Patches and repairs bubbles or voids using syringes and small tools; bakes parts to cure epoxy patches

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required
  • Must be available to attend a 4-day, onsite training in Minnetonka, MN (Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) at the start of the assignment, regardless of assigned shift or work location
  • Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED
  • Ability to successfully pass a knowledge based evaluation is required
