Located in Camp Lejeune, NC, this full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an exciting opportunity to support Pre-K through 5th-grade students in a school setting. Responsibilities:
- Caseload management of approximately 50 students spanning Pre-K to 5th grade
- Evaluation and treatment planning for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaboration with teachers and educational staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing direct therapy services, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language interventions
- Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports adhering to school and healthcare standards
- Flexible handling of SLPA support; preference given to candidates willing to work without SLPA assistance or vocotherapy, and open to Clinical Fellows (CF)
Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience working in pediatric settings, specifically with school-aged children (Pre-K to elementary)
- Familiarity with school-based SLP protocols and educational requirements
- Ability to develop and implement effective therapeutic strategies for diverse caseloads
- Strong communication skills and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
