At KSA, our projects include water/wastewater, transportation, aviation electrical systems, utilities, SCADA, and various other projects. We are looking for someone passionate about electrical engineering and ready to make a difference in the communities we serve. Additionally, this position will be a Team Lead role guiding and mentoring a team of PEs and EITs. The ideal candidate will have achievements in growing and building a team of Instrumentation & Controls and Electrical Engineering professionals to meet business goals and work demands.

Prior working experience with an engineering consulting firm would be helpful. There will be collaboration with project managers to determine the schedule and production oversight, as well as to coordinate with the project managers on time, schedule, and budget for the electrical design portion of projects. This includes engineering studies, including illumination, voltage drop, load flow, and over-current coordination; designs and AutoCAD drafting for drawings; Word documents for specifications and supporting engineering calculations as well as the review of shop drawings during construction. Experience in the design of building-related electrical systems such as lighting and controls, power systems (normal and emergency), and low voltage systems (telecommunications, fire alarm, security) is a plus. This individual should be self-motivated and possess strong leadership skills with the initiative to deliver high-quality, technically sound electrical designs and a willingness to work hard and take an independent approach to learning and development.

We would love to hear from you if you are ready to take the next step in your career. A non-negotiable requirement is to have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and be licensed in Texas with the ability to obtain reciprocal registration in other states as needed.
