We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Accountant to support the financial operations of our newly established US subsidiary. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
This role is ideal for an individual who is proactive, organized, and capable of working independently while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and proper supporting documentation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor the company’s cash flow position.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports accurately and on a timely basis.
- Provide financial analysis, management reports, and ad hoc reporting as required by Management and the Group.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Support payroll processing and related statutory filings.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate service providers on accounting and compliance matters.
- Assist in the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of accounting systems and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and tax experience.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and International Accounting Standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
