Family Pet Clinic of Newburg is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. This is a great opportunity for skilled, outgoing technicians who are eager to fully utilize their training while building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets in a supportive, team-focused environment.
In this role, you will:

Provide high-quality patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation and recovery, and dental cleanings with radiographs

Support efficient exam room flow while delivering clear, compassionate client communication

Review treatment plans, provide thorough discharge instructions, and confidently address client questions

Collaborate closely with veterinarians and teammates to carry out outpatient care and ensure the highest standard of patient care
At Family Pet Clinic of Newburg, we provide care for cats, dogs, and exotic pets, and pride ourselves on delivering compassionate, high-quality medicine across species. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented technician who is passionate about exceptional patient and client care and enjoys working at the top of their license within a collaborative, well-established practice.
This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays.
Full-time benefits and compensation**:
- Compensation: $24 - $28 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $2000
- CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
- 4+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Oregon
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Client communication
- Anesthesia induction/monitoring
- Dental prophy
- IVC placement
- Outpatient care
