We're currently hiring an Accounting Clerk on a contract basis for one of our clients. They're looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling day-to-day accounting tasks in a structured environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and contributing to a team that relies on accuracy and consistency. The role focuses on supporting core accounting functions and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.


Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and account balances
  • Enter and maintain accurate financial records in accounting software
  • Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation
  • Prepare reports and assist with general accounting tasks as needed
  • Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing and payment questions
  • Provide additional administrative support when necessary

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
