Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a CT Technologist for a top healthcare client. The CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment to assist in the detection and treatment of medical conditions. This position plays a key role in providing high-quality imaging services while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and compliance with departmental standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines
- Prepare and position patients properly to ensure optimal imaging results
- Collaborate closely with physicians and imaging staff to verify and interpret diagnostic data
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control policies
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring readiness and accuracy
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and report abnormalities as needed
- Accurately complete and record all documentation immediately following each scan
- Comply with all departmental, state, and federal regulations regarding imaging procedures
Requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience performing CT scans preferred
- Will consider a seasoned X-Ray Technologist willing to train into CT
Certifications/Licenses
- Florida State DOH General Radiographer license
- ARRT CT Registry (or registry eligible and must obtain within six months of hire)

- Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and safety protocols

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
