Stevens Foster is a highly respected Registered Investment Advisory firm. We provide fully integrated financial planning to high net worth and corporate clients. Our office of 20 employees includes various professionals with backgrounds in advisory, investments, tax and tax planning, financial planning, and support staff.

As the Human Resources Generalist and Office Administrator, you will have the opportunity to create a positive impact on the lives of our employees by providing your expertise as you help recruit and retain talent to join our firm. What you will do:

  • Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop training materials and performance management programs to ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
  • Create job offers and ensures compliance.
  • Conduct new hire orientation.
  • Enter new hires into payroll system.
  • Administer FMLA leave of absences and handle any workers compensation claims.
  • Document all HR processes and procedures.
  • Run monthly reports and audit monthly benefit invoices.
  • Manage HR surveys and training.
  • Administer benefits for new hires and handle annual open enrollment.
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution.
  • Assist with all strategic goals as needed.
  • Maintain and track key assignments, projects, and initiatives with the Officers of the Company.
  • Various Administrative duties.
  • Maintain the HR paperless filing system.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Understanding of business concepts with the ability to balance human/organizational decisions.
  • Knowledge of personnel/employee relations to include payroll (QuickBooks preferred), benefits, wage and salary administration, recruitment and selection, unemployment compensation, workers compensation, and process development.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • High degree of professionalism; able to deal with extremely confidential information.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing with all levels of employees and external agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 or more years of Human Resources Generalist experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • HR certificate preferred but not required.
