Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with educators and specialists while developing and implementing individualized education plans tailored to each student's strengths and needs.

Qualifications:

  • Active California credential for moderate/severe disabilities (required)
  • Experience teaching in an elementary special education environment, preferably with ESN caseloads
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, compliance, and delivery
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide instruction and support to a caseload of 11 ESN students
  • Develop and implement IEPs, ensuring goals meet each student's unique needs
  • Collaborate with staff, therapists, and families on student progress and strategies
  • Adapt instructional methods and materials for a range of learning styles and abilities
  • Maintain required documentation and participate in meetings and assessments as needed

This full-time contract role runs from August 12, 2026, through June 3, 2027, offering 7.17 hours per day. Compensation is offered at $50 to $60 per hour, commensurate with experience.
