Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:
- Active California credential for moderate/severe disabilities (required)
- Experience teaching in an elementary special education environment, preferably with ESN caseloads
- Strong understanding of IEP development, compliance, and delivery
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and support to a caseload of 11 ESN students
- Develop and implement IEPs, ensuring goals meet each student's unique needs
- Collaborate with staff, therapists, and families on student progress and strategies
- Adapt instructional methods and materials for a range of learning styles and abilities
- Maintain required documentation and participate in meetings and assessments as needed
This full-time contract role runs from August 12, 2026, through June 3, 2027, offering 7.17 hours per day. Compensation is offered at $50 to $60 per hour, commensurate with experience.
