Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Receptionist / Medical Assistant. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others and is interested in building a career in healthcare.
Prior healthcare experience is helpful but not required. Candidates with previous medical office experience may be considered for increased compensation based on experience and qualifications. We also encourage applicants with customer service, reception, hospitality, retail, or other people-focused backgrounds to apply.

Schedule
- Full-time, on-site position
- Monday through Friday
- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- No weekends
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and maintain a welcoming, professional front desk environment
- Answer phones and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
- Check patients in and out of appointments
- Verify patient information and maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Manage charts, paperwork, and insurance or billing-related forms as directed
- Prepare exam rooms and organize clinical supplies
- Assist with patient flow to support timely visits and efficient clinic operations
- Collaborate closely with the physician and staff to provide high-quality, compassionate patient care
- Support administrative and clinical workflows as needed
Qualifications
- Prior healthcare experience is helpful but not required
- Previous experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, retail, or other client-facing roles is highly valued
- Strong front desk, receptionist, and clerical skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proven customer service skills with a professional, patient-centered approach
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail in a busy environment
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort working with electronic health records or similar systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification is a plus but not required
- Willingness to obtain Medical Assistant certification if not currently certified (certification costs paid by employer)
- Reliability, punctuality, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and practice policies
