Location: New York, NY 10016
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: 34.5 Hours/Week | 11.5-Hour Shifts | 3 Days/Week

Travel Compensation Package

Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,000

Local: $60 - $65/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic acute care team in New York City. The RN will provide high-quality patient care on a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients during night shifts.
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings.
  • Assess patient conditions and communicate changes promptly.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy procedures.
  • Assist with conscious sedation procedures when required.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and facility protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
  • Active New York State RN License.
  • Primary Source Verification of License and Registration through NYSED.
  • AHA BLS Certification.
  • AHA ACLS Certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience.

  • Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.

  • Conscious sedation monitoring and patient care.
