Job Description
We are looking to add a Construction Field Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction projects on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. Manage crews, subcontractors, and materials, while also ensuring compliance with regulations and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of a construction project, including planning, scheduling, and implementation.
- Crew Supervision: Direct and supervise construction crews, including subcontractors, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Safety Management: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures, providing training and monitoring for safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress.
- Material Management: Manage and coordinate material procurement and delivery, ensuring they are available when needed.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise on the job site, ensuring the project stays on schedule.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, costs, and safety issues.
- Coordination: Coordinate with other trades, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, to ensure smooth project flow.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Extensive experience in supervising construction projects, with supervisory experience, and preferably in the masonry and concrete trade area.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications: OSHA 30 certification and other relevant certifications may be required.
