We are looking for someone to join us Friday and Saturdays as a guest ambassador at the BARN. Apply if those days work for you!
Position Summary: As a Guest Ambassador at Meriam Park Events, you are the first point of contact for guests and a key part of creating a seamless and memorable experience. Youll support event operations by helping with event setup and breakdown, welcoming and directing guests, answering questions, collecting tickets, and ensuring a safe, friendly environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying on their feet, and jumping in wherever help is needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with event setup and takedown, including moving tables, chairs, signage, and decor.
- Greet guests with a welcoming attitude and offer assistance with directions, check-in, or general event information.
- Collect tickets or manage guest lists at entry points, using mobile or paper-based systems.
- Monitor guest flow and venue access to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Provide basic crowd guidance and help enforce venue rules in a calm, professional manner.
- Respond to guest questions and escalate issues to event coordinators or supervisors as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a high standard of guest experience throughout each event.
- Stay alert and observant to address potential safety concerns or guest needs proactively.
- Handle cash and card transactions (if applicable) with accuracy and integrity.
- Assist in post-event cleanup and ensure all barware and equipment are properly stored.
- Represent Meriam Park Events with professionalism, warmth, and a customer-first attitude.

Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage with guests of all ages and backgrounds.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in indoor/outdoor settings.
- Comfortable handling minor conflicts or enforcing event rules with confidence and respect.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Prior experience in events, hospitality, customer service, or security is a plus, but not required.
