Job DescriptionDirector of Finance
Location: Coeur d’Alene, ID
Compensation: $180,000–$200,000 base salary + bonus
CV Resources is partnering with a well-established financial services company in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to identify a highly experienced Director of Finance. This senior leadership role will oversee financial operations and serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, supporting long-term growth and performance.
Responsibilities

Lead all finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting

Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
-
Manage cash flow, capital planning, and financial risk
-
Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team
-
Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies

Coordinate audits, tax filings, and collaboration with external partners
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required

MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred
-
10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience

Proven leadership experience required

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

Financial services industry experience strongly preferred

Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
