About the role

Responsible for coordinating, organizing, and preparing residential loan files for closings. Works closely with bank staff, insurers and others to ensure timely and quality customer service. Focuses on supporting the efficient and regulatory compliant closing of residential loan applications.

Position may be located in Rapid City, SD, or Cheyenne, WY. It is not a remote position.

What you will do

  • Prepares, maintains, and distributes closing documentation and regulatory disclosures to department personnel meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Performs outreach to facilitate scheduling of loan closings in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Manages assigned loan closing pipeline, coordinates mortgage closing activity with department personnel and communicates and/or responds to file inquiries, deficiencies, and expired documentation.
  • Processes loan funding in accordance with policy and procedures.
  • Prepares CD 3-5 days prior to closing and ensures that acknowledgement from the customer is timely.
  • Ensures all PTC, PTD, and PTF conditions are completed.
  • Reviews the title commitment and survey.
  • Sends closing documents and funds/wire to the title company once file is clear to close and pulls all necessary documents from the file for signature or initials.
  • Prepares and send files to QC for first choice picks.
  • Orders mortgage payoffs.
  • Finalizes monthly HMDA reports.
  • Assists with post-closing documentation correction and communication to borrower when necessary.
  • Collaborates with department management and colleagues to complete projects/assignments as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will need

  • Associates degree or equivalent in related field preferred.
  • 2+ years related experience preferred.
