Schwieters Companies is hiring a full-time, Machine and Maintenance Technician to join our team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform complex preventative maintenance and repair of all manufacturing machines, vehicles, equipment, and grounds
- Develop and execute a preventative maintenance program for all building machinery and equipment, and grounds in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards, and local, state, and federal regulations
- Maintain inventory of parts necessary for performing building maintenance; initiate requisitions for purchases as needed
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle maintenance checks
- Audit buildings for OSHA compliance
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years industrial machine maintenance/technician experience required
- Prefinish/paint machine maintenance experience a plus
- Building maintenance experience
- Mechanical aptitude and abilities
- Industry knowledge
- Able to safely operate equipment as needed
- Capable of standing for extended period of times
- Able to work in a warehouse environment on concrete flooring and in varying temperatures
- Able to lift 50+ lbs. comfortably
- Consistent work history with strong verifiable references
- Able to work independently and with a team
- Self-starter, motivated
- Able to see the big picture
- Flexible in working overtime when necessary
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position)
- Other duties as assigned
WORK SCHEDULE
- Monday-Friday, 45 hours per week
- 6am-3:30pm or later, depending on business needs
COMPENSATION
- $28+/hr. (depending on qualifications)
