People and Culture Assistant
Compensation: $50,000-55,000 per year
Job Type: Full Time
Work Environment: This position is at our corporate office and will require the first 30 to 90 days in the office. Discussions for hybrid work will occur after 30 to 90 days.
Work Schedule: : 8:30am- 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

The People and Culture Assistant role provides administrative support to one or more human resources functions, maintains personnel files for compliance readiness, assists with recruiting activities, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training, and maintenance of personnel files and/or records. Processes HR department applications, including employment applications and records management.
As the People and Culture Assistant you will:
- Maintain records for both Total Care Services Inc., and EveryDay We Care, LLC.
- Responsible for onboarding process for EveryDay We Care, LLC staff.
- Conducts regular monitoring and review of personnel and onboarding files.
- Helps facilitate employee engagement activities to include, benefits open enrollment, and training.
- Assist with benefit enrollments, team meetings, telephone screens, and monitor training programs offered through People and Culture Department.
- Establishes and maintains working relationships with staff, and vendors; and responds to individuals in a timely manner and use independent judgment and initiative to assist with P&C services.
- Coordinating logistics for New Hire Orientation.
- Participates in recruitment effort for exempt and nonexempt personnel (excluding managerial levels and above); and helps to coordinate the use of temporary employees.
- Performs all duties described, and others as required, using the mission of the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred and at least 2 to 5 years of Human Resources experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or alien who is lawfully authorized to work in the U.S.
- 2 to 3 years of records management experience.
- 1-2 years of strong administrative experience.
- Proficiency with HRIS and personnel files.
- Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Excellent organization and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
