Providing specialized speech-language pathology services for students is a critical role that directly contributes to their academic success and personal growth. This opportunity is for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to work within K-12 school settings, offering comprehensive support to help students develop essential communication skills.

Position Type: Contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week
Student Age Group: Kindergarten through 12th grade
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Experience in school-based speech therapy preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and educators
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure appropriate student support
- Document student progress and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Utilize evidence-based strategies tailored to each student's unique needs
