Veterinary Technician – Come Join the Tidewater Family
Tidewater Veterinary is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and energetic Veterinary
Technician to join our growing team! We are conveniently located in Seaside Farms, just off the
IOP Connector in Mount Pleasant—so if a walk on the beach during your lunch break sounds
like your kind of recharge, we may be the perfect fit for you.
Responsibilities
• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Provide clear, friendly, and compassionate communication with clients in person and on the
phone
• Monitor anesthesia and carefully oversee patient recovery
• Perform laboratory testing and other diagnostic procedures
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and detailed medical records
• Phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, basic drug calculations, restraint, and treatments for our
patients
Qualifications
• Veterinary Technician certification/licensure (as required by state) preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
