Our client, a dynamic and successful fast-growing company based in the Medley area, is seeking a professional Electrical Project Manager to join their fantastic team.

Responsibilities
- Provide on-site leadership and supervision to subcontractors and crews to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Work closely with engineers, designers, and vendors to gather pricing information and technical specifications.
- Define scope through detailed review of project specifications, drawings, and job requirements.
- Contribute to the preparation of detailed project cost estimates
- Oversee all phases of commercial and industrial electrical projects, from pre-construction to final commissioning
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that include labor, materials, and subcontractor pricing.
- Responsible for estimating time and material costs, tracking project expenses, generating reports, and coordinating supply, tools and equipment requisitions.
- Plan and organize industrial and commercial projects; oversee daily operations; inspect installations for quality; ensure compliance with code standards; and maintain job site safety.
- Train and guide subordinates on detailed procedures and best practices.
- Plan, schedule, assign, and inspect the work of power linemen, electricians, and trades helpers, while actively participating as needed.
- Conduct routine site inspections to verify compliance with codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Manage a team by tracking performance, training new members, participating in meetings, identifying issues, and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Coordinate the procurement of supplies, equipment, and tools while maintaining accurate job records and reports.
- Delegate tasks, communicate effectively, and motivate the team to meet project deadlines while ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct training sessions on equipment handling and job site safety.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical industry, plus 3 or more years as a project manager for medium to large-sized projects.
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
- Solid understanding of electrical construction, industrial control systems, and follow applicable codes for all areas of operation.
- Proven expertise in all facets of trade work, including materials, components, equipment, installation methods, safety protocols, blueprint/drawing interpretation, basic calculations, and troubleshooting.
- PMP Certification is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with PROCORE is an asset
