Job Overview – Fundraising and Development Coordinator:

Location: Montgomery County, PA

Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)


Atlantic Group is hiring a Fundraising and Development Coordinator in Montgomery County, PA (In-Office). Partnering with our client, you will manage donor cultivation, campaigns, and grants, oversee fundraising events, maintain donor databases, and create communications to engage individuals, corporations, and foundations. This role is ideal for nonprofit development professionals with fundraising experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for education and community engagement.


Responsibilities as the Fundraising and Development Coordinator:

  • Fundraising Campaigns: Assist in planning and executing appeals, events, and campaigns to drive development goals.
  • Donor Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
  • Grant Support: Research funding opportunities, contribute to proposals, and prepare donor impact reports.
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate donor records, update partner lists, and generate progress reports.
  • Marketing & Outreach: Support newsletters, social media, and community engagement to promote development initiatives.
  • Event Management: Coordinate logistics and execution of fundraising events, meetings, and community programs.


Qualifications for the Fundraising and Development Coordinator:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, or a related field required.
  • Experience: 3+ years in nonprofit fundraising with demonstrated success in donor cultivation, event planning, grant writing, and achieving fundraising goals.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in donor management systems (Salesforce preferred), fundraising analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, detail-oriented and team-focused, with a commitment to education and community-based initiatives.
