Primary Role objective and job summary:

The A/V Production/Event Support Technician is responsible for collaborating with the client’s business unit, management team, users, and other company employees to deliver a high level of customer service. The A/V Production/Event Support Technician will be focused on live-A/V production and system operations in a variety of corporate environments, including but not limited to auditorium spaces, All hands spaces, and temporary setups.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform system operations and testing of client provided A/V consoles, cameras, microphones, speakers, amplifiers & video displays during production events .

• Troubleshoot A/V technical issues before and during production events.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced and fluid environment.

• Interact with client Customer Help Desk ticketing system to respond to end user requests.

• Setup and breakdown of all A/V event equipment of onsite meetings when needed.

• Assist with company meetings/functions that require any and all use of AV infrastructure (audio, video conferencing, presentations, webcasting, visual displays, and control systems.

• Manage strict timelines, meet deadlines, and handle potentially stressful situations.

• Other duties as required or assigned by company management.

Qualifications

· Minimum 2-3 years of experience with digital A/V production systems, lighting, video display and live A/V broadcast production in a corporate environment or similar venue.

· Superior customer service skills with the ability to interact with senior management and technical people at a variety of levels as well as the ability to address technical issues with both technical and non-technical associates.

· This job operates in a professional office environment which requires proper decorum and etiquette at all times.

· Must be open to a flexible schedule as the position will occasionally require an early start time and or after hour work.

Additional Skills and Abilities:

· Proper cable termination skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized.

· Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.

Travel:

· Some out-of-town travel required.

Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements:

· The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

· Frequently required to stand; walk; reach and grasp with fingers, hands, and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
