Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An excellent opportunity is available for a Med/Surg Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, compassionate care within an established acute care setting. As a valued member of the nursing team, you will work in a modern facility featuring a 34-bed unit utilizing advanced technologies such as Alaris pumps, SCD machines, feeding tubes, and tele monitors. This contract assignment provides exposure to a broad adult and geriatric patient population with medical, surgical, and telemetry needs.
Schedule & Hours:
- Night shift: 7p–7a
- Occasional weekend shifts required (same hours)
- On-call as needed (if down staffed)
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg or similar acute care setting
- Previous exposure to telemetry is preferred
- Demonstrated adaptability and a strong team-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with Cerner EHR is a plus
- Professionalism in appearance (scrubs in any color and closed-toed shoes required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adults and geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment
- Monitor, assess, and document patient progress
- Collaborate effectively with care teams
- Provide support to float for inpatient holds as needed
- Maintain diligent adherence to safety and infection prevention protocols
