Job Title: Truck Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled mechanical assembler to assist in building tanker trucks, full products, and sub-assemblies. The ideal candidate will have experience in large assembly and the ability to read and interpret manufacturing blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Install parts and sub-assemblies prior to and after the painting process
- Assemble and install pumps, valves, and piping systems
- Assemble and install drive and pulleys
- Test-run completed equipment prior to shipment
- Read and interpret blueprint detail drawings and dimension styles
- Update paperwork to reflect any changes
- Operate equipment safely, including Overhead Crane, Ironworker, small Band Saw, Drill Presses, hand drills, Cutting Torch, and other equipment as required
- Operate forklift according to safe operating procedures, including acquisition and maintenance of training certificate
Essential Skills
- Mechanical assembly
- Repair skills
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Large scale assembly experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with assembly of drivelines, pumps, meters, and valves
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Experience with schematic reading
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with mechanical components
- Ability to operate equipment safely, including Ironworker, small Band Saw, Drill Presses, hand drills, Cutting Torch, and other equipment as required
- Welding experience is helpful

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
