We're seeking a Construction Superintendent to take ownership of on-site operations across high-impact commercial and industrial projects. About the Role
As Superintendent, you'll be responsible for coordinating all field operations for a defined trade, project area, or entire job site. Acting as the bridge between field teams and project leadership, you’ll manage scheduling, workforce planning, subcontractor performance, safety oversight, and field execution. Key Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day site operations and trade coordination
- Oversee safety, schedule adherence, quality control, and site logistics
- Lead site meetings, preconstruction briefings, and toolbox talks
- Manage subcontractors, materials delivery, and equipment logistics
- Perform constructability reviews and contribute to planning & scheduling
- Maintain detailed documentation including site reports and punch lists
- Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards
- Work closely with engineers, owners, architects, and inspectors
- Contribute to project startup, milestone tracking, and project closeout
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of construction field leadership experience
- Experience managing scopes over $1M
- Strong planning, scheduling, and field coordination skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and technical documents
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills
- Familiarity with industry tools including Microsoft Office and Primavera P6
Preferred Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Certifications: CQM-C, NCCER, Quality 201, Building Science 201, Pull Planning
