ImageCare is seeking an experienced part-time Ultrasound Technologist for our Millburn location. All new hires are required to attend first-day orientation at our Mount Olive office before reporting to their assigned work location or training site.
The Schedule we are looking to fill:
Monday & Thursday 7:00am - 6:00pm with alternating Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for providing our patients with the best care and experience while working with the entire staff to perform quality ultrasound scans and biopsies. In addition, the Ultrasound Technologist works closely with the radiologists to gather medical images and have a great opportunity to ensure an efficient and patient-focused experience during their procedure.
The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, compassionate, and experienced in producing quality images for proper treatment and diagnosis by the radiologist.
Candidates must be able to perform ALL Ultrasound exams including:
- General Ultrasound and Ob/Gyn
- Vascular
- Breast Ultrasound
Requirements:
- At least one year working at a hospital experience or working independently is preferred.
- Basic vascular knowledge (venous doppler and carotids) and breast ultrasound experience is a plus.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer License (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
