DASMEN is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support our Multi-Family Housing operations. This role is responsible for day-to-day accounting functions and will work closely with property management and corporate leadership. While QuickBooks experience is required, Yardi experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bookkeeping functions including AP, AR, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple multi-family properties
- Process invoices, vendor payments, and tenant-related transactions
- Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month-end close
- Work within QuickBooks for corporate accounting functions
- Utilize Yardi for property-level accounting, reporting, and reconciliations
- Assist with budgets, audits, and year-end reporting as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Proven bookkeeping or accounting experience (multi-family or property management preferred)
- Strong QuickBooks experience required
- Yardi experience strongly preferred (candidates with Yardi will receive priority consideration)
- Knowledge of multi-family accounting, trust accounts, and tenant ledgers is a plus
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting best practices
