Family Nurse Practitioner

We are a fast-growing Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Center with offices in Elmhurst, Brooklyn Heights, and Manhattan, seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our multidisciplinary medical team.
In this role, you will work in-person, providing hands-on, patient-centered care to individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries. You’ll perform clinical evaluations, develop and manage treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and other providers in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical exams and patient assessments
- Record detailed medical histories and symptoms
- Create and update individualized treatment and care plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatments as needed
- Administer medications and perform therapeutic interventions
- Educate patients and families on recovery, prevention, and self-care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited NP program
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State (ANCC or AANP certification)
- Authorized to practice in family health in NY with prescriptive privileges
- Prior experience in primary care, neurology, or rehab strongly preferred
- EMR proficiency and familiarity with HIPAA/OSHA guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
