We are a wellness-focused veterinary clinic seeking a veterinary technician or experienced assistant who enjoys preventive care, client education, and a lower-stress work environment.

This position is ideal for someone looking to step away from the demands of surgery, emergencies, and hospitalized cases while still practicing quality medicine and building strong client relationships.

Consistent daytime schedule

Focus on wellness, prevention, and client education

Schedule:

Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Saturday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM

No late nights or on-call shifts

Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians with routine wellness and basic illness exams

Perform laboratory testing (SNAP tests, ear/skin cytologies)

Administer medications as directed

Perform nail trims, anal gland expressions, ear cleanings

Collect blood samples and place IV catheters

Obtain and record patient vitals

Safely restrain animals during procedures

Maintain accurate medical records

Educate clients on preventive care and treatment plans

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting (technician or assistant)

Comfortable with basic technical skills (phlebotomy, restraint, sample collection)

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
