Job Description

The Quality Inspector will perform in-process inspections of sheet metal parts. The role involves inspecting welds, punched holes, angles, and bend allowances, as well as comparing parts to blueprints to ensure they meet specifications. Accurate documentation of inspection findings is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process inspections of sheet metal parts.
  • Inspect welds, punched holes, angles, and bend allowances.
  • Compare parts to blueprints to ensure specifications are met.
  • Document inspection findings accurately.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with calipers, micrometers, and blueprint reading.
  • Quality inspection experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with sheet metal inspection, including welds, bends, and holes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts.
  • Sheet metal inspection experience preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
