Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Lead to join our passionate team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our brand presence and effectively communicating our message to target audiences. This includes responsibilities to act as the direct interface with external marketing organizations and to architect and execute our entire marketing function. This position requires a self-starter that is willing to operate outside of their comfort zone, and is capable of great initiative, leadership and excellent judgment, and decision-making skills. Roles and Responsibilities:

· Own the entire marketing function: strategy, execution, and performance

· Develop and refine core messaging, value propositions, and brand positioning

· Create and manage collateral for events and sales — one-pagers, decks, product sheets

· Drive our social media presence across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube using AI content tools

· Produce content: blogs, case studies, emails, and thought leadership

· Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Jasper, Midjourney, Canva AI, etc.) to scale content generation

· Execute digital campaigns across SEO, SEM, email, and retargeting

· Track performance with tools like GA4, HubSpot, or similar

· Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and executive leadership

· Support planning and execution of industry events and trade shows

Requirements:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong editing abilities

· Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools

· Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines

· Creative thinker with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling and relatable content

· Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively across departments and levels of the organization

· Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and a drive for results

· Willingness and desire to seek additional responsibilities within the framework of this position

· Due to the security sensitive nature of our clientele, applicants must be a US Citizen

· 4–8 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in AI, SaaS, or security tech

· Experience in startup or small team environments — you can do, not just delegate

· Strong grasp of AI tools for marketing and a bias toward automation and scaling

· Comfortable with everything from writing copy to tweaking landing pages to creating short videos

· Working knowledge of core marketing tech: SEO, PPC, email marketing, CRMs, and web analytics

· Able to prioritize, move fast, and build out the function as we grow

· Clear, concise communicator with strong business judgment

· Bonus: experience marketing to federal or enterprise buyers

Qualifications:

INVESTIGATION REQUIREMENT: Applicants must be willing, as that may be required, to be subjected to a background investigation to determine suitability for employment at Airship AI, Inc.. Continued employment is contingent upon favorable adjudication of periodic reinvestigations.

DRUG TESTING: Certain Airship positions require drug testing. Applicants tentatively selected for those positions will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use per Federal requirements prior to employment. Employment is contingent upon favorable results.
