Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time or full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide maternity leave coverage at an early childhood school located in Hopkins, MN. This role is ideal for licensed SLP professionals who are passionate about supporting young learners communication development in a dynamic educational setting. The assignment begins in April and continues through the end of the school year, with potential to transition to a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to children with diverse communication challenges.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and ensure consistent intervention strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to comprehensive educational planning.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure and certification as an SLP, including CCC or CFY credentials.
- Experience working within school settings, preferably early childhood education.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders in young children.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs.
