Position Title: Electrical Engineer - Electronics & SMT
Location: On-site - Wall Township, NJ
Salary Range: $110K - $140K (DOE)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with electronics and SMT experience to support PCB assembly and manufacturing operations. This role will partner with both engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues, improve process efficiency, and ensure high-quality output. You will also support new product introductions and help drive continuous improvements across electronics manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in the design and development of electrical circuits and systems tailored to project needs.
- Serve as a technical resource, offering guidance in electronics and electrical principles.
- Interpret customer specifications and convert them into practical engineering solutions.
- Create and refine systems and boards for use in customer applications, lab evaluations, and product demonstrations.
- Oversee PCB layout and conduct reviews for customer designs and testing setups.
- Assess test data and clearly communicate insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure integration of electrical components into broader systems.
- Investigate complex engineering challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and industry developments in electrical engineering.
- Draft detailed technical documentation and contracts outlining project deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3+ years of hands-on electrical engineering experience
- Experience in circuit/system design or product applications.
- Background with electronics design, PCB assembly, and SMT (Surface Mount Technology) processes
- Proficiency in testing circuits and systems, including automated test development.
- Experience with test software and GUI development (Python, Java, or similar).
- Familiarity with embedded programming (MicroPython, Arduino, etc.).
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret technical literature and apply findings to real-world challenges.
- Proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and basic statistics.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
