Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse - Infusion Specialist!\n\nJob Description:\n\n- Position: Registered Nurse - Infusion\n- Unit: Cancer Center Infusion\n- Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (09:00 - 19:30)\n- Experience Required: 2 years of relevant experience\n- Licensure: Active CA RN License\n- Certifications: \n - Required: BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC)\n - Preferred: OCN, ONS/ONCC\n- Travel: Yes, travel experience required\n- Charting System: Epic (Required)\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Provide excellent patient care in an infusion center environment\n- Administer intravenous chemotherapy, injections, and blood products\n- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and side effects\n- Complete nursing assessments and implement appropriate interventions\n- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Pharmacy, and Social Services\n- Manage IV therapy/infusions, including central line and port care\n- Recognize and respond to oncologic emergencies and side effects\n\nPreferred Skills:\n\n- IV Therapy/Infusions\n- Accessing/Managing Ports\n- Administration of blood & blood products\n- Care of patients with various cancers, including but not limited to:\n - Brain cancer\n - Breast cancer\n - Lung cancer\n - Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias\n - Lymphoma/Non-Hodgkins lymphoma\n- Pain management and symptom control\n\nWork Environment:\n\n- Encounter diverse patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics\n- Daily census of 75 patients and 56 rooms available\n- Engage in a supportive multidisciplinary atmosphere\n\nOrientation & Work Schedule:\n\n- Orientation hours: 48\n- Weekend shifts required: 6-8 per contract\n- Patient Ratios: 1:7\n\n---\n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country. \nEnjoy competitive pay, seamless onboarding, and a supportive recruiter who’s with you every step of the way. \nJoin us — where your expertise makes a difference every day!
