Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following physician orders; document responses and changes.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, identify changes, and report promptly to the care team.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and contribute to care planning for residents with chronic conditions.
- Assist with activities of daily living and ensure safety, comfort, and dignity during care.
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, dietary, and social work teams to coordinate resident care.
- Maintain accurate electronic or paper charting, ensure proper handoffs, and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing.
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
- Ability to work the 11:00 pm–7:00 am shift.
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment on a temporary basis.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.
