Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.

• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status regularly.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

• Contribute to achieving departmental targets and quality metrics.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.

• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

• Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately and timely.

• Utilize technology and tools to enhance patient care and workflow efficiency.

• Maintain a high level of visibility in work activities and results.

• Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions to improve skills.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and training.

• Ability to achieve departmental targets and quality metrics.

• Experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing settings.

• Ability to educate patients and families on health management.

• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a healthcare team.

• Strong assessment skills for monitoring patient vital signs.

• Understanding of safety and infection control protocols.

• Willingness to engage in performance evaluations for skill improvement.

• Proficiency in using healthcare technology and documentation tools.
