Job Title: Client Services Specialist – Commercial Operations
Location: Johnston, RI (100% Onsite)
Pay Rate: $21.75/hour
Schedule Options:
- Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Client Services Specialist to join our Commercial Operations team in Johnston, RI. This is a fully onsite role ideal for a customer-focused professional with 5+ years of call center experience, preferably within banking or financial services.
As a key member of the team, you will meet and exceed service and quality standards while maintaining strong communication with both external clients and internal partners. You will also perform root cause analysis to identify recurring service issues and support process improvements that enhance service levels and the overall client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve Cash Management, ACH, and Commercial Card customers via phone, chat, and email
- Research client inquiries and provide training on all available products and services
- Independently support internal and external customers across a wide range of commercial banking products and technical issues
- Diagnose, prioritize, resolve, and/or escalate system, technical, or procedural issues as needed
- Partner with operational support teams to resolve client issues and reduce future occurrences
- Perform root cause analysis and assist in implementing solutions to improve efficiency and service levels
- Proactively communicate potential issues or obstacles to management
- Maintain consistent productivity, service, and quality standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of customer service and call center experience (banking experience preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong phone etiquette and active listening skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage daily workload independently
- Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate difficult situations
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and exercise sound judgment
- High attention to detail and strong time-management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and results-oriented
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
