The Physical Therapist plays a vital role in delivering specialized care to all patients, focusing on improving their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the therapist utilizes a range of therapeutic equipment and technology, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) and telehealth platforms, to assess, treat, and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine treatment needs
- Develop customized treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Educate patients on injury prevention, therapy techniques, and home exercises
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EHR systems
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Handle and utilize therapeutic and diagnostic equipment safely
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- State Physical Therapy License
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in physical therapy
- Expertise in patient assessment and treatment planning
- Proficiency in manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and empathetic interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Efficient time management and record-keeping abilities
