Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop operations and workflow to ensure production targets are met.
• Supervise, train, and mentor shop floor employees, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate necessary repairs.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, initiating reorders as needed.
• Implement and enforce quality control standards, inspecting work to ensure it meets specifications.
• Communicate effectively with management, providing updates on production status and challenges.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve production-related issues and improve processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• - Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and technical drawings.
• - Familiarity with various quality control systems and statistical process control (SPC).
• - Strong understanding of preventative maintenance schedules and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
