Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded professional capable of working independently on residential and commercial projects, including service calls, upgrades, troubleshooting, and new installations. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, communicates well, and is eager to grow with a fast-paced, forward-thinking company.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings

Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and code specifications

Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform service work independently

Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes

Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and inspectors as needed

Maintain accurate job records, time tracking, and material usage

Mentor apprentices when applicable

Keep work sites clean, organized, and safe
Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of field experience (residential and commercial)

Strong knowledge of NEC, wiring methods, and installation standards

Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and electrical testing equipment

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred but not required)

New Jersey Electrical Journeyman License (preferred but not required)
