Immediate need, temp to hire, top tier law firm with room to grow!
To act as the point of contact for Office Services and Mailroom Operations. The position requires the candidate to have attention to details, good written and verbal instructions, and good computer skills. The position also requires the candidate to be diligent, reliable, to have the ability to learn rapidly, be personable, self-motivated, flexible, to remain calm and productive when handling urgent work and transcend to problem solving for the success of the department.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, Excel , iManage +
• Sort, scan, email and deliver incoming mail and faxes
• Copying, Printing, Scanning, Binding & CD & DVD duplicating
• Scan records of receipt, mailing dates, and other required information
• Scan, deliver any incoming hand deliveries and overnight packages (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
• Schedule messenger service
• Stamp outgoing mail
• Office supplies and prepare list for ordering
• Stock supplies in mail room, closets, and kitchens
• Set up for meetings in conference rooms
• Clean conference rooms, mailroom, kitchen, and common areas in the office
• Move boxes or files for individuals to conference rooms, file areas, or offices as needed
• Trouble-shoot and fix any problems with photocopiers, postage machine and office equipment
• Ensure maintenance problems are promptly reported and handled
• Good communication skills
• Basic understanding of operating instructions and processes for machines
• Basic understanding of postage rates and regulations
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to complete projects in a timely manner
• Ability to lift approximately 30 pounds
