Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
- Develop and present personalized treatment plans
- Review and maintain patient medical and dental records
- Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
- Provide high-quality restorative and preventive dental care
- Perform surgical procedures as needed
- Maintain the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and patient care
- Stay current on new technologies and best practices through continuing education
Skills & Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an ADA-accredited dental school
- Active state dental license
- Proof of malpractice insurance
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
