- Contract Length: 13 weeks (contract nursing job)\n
- Start Date: July 7, 2026\n
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts/week, 36 hours/week\n
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 – $2,100 (competitive emergency nursing pay)\n
- Orientation: July 7, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM\n
\n\nRequired Qualifications — Emergency Nursing / ER RN\n
- \n
- Minimum 1 year recent Emergency Room RN (ER RN) experience; triage and fast-paced ED experience preferred\n
- Experience with all age populations, including pediatrics (pediatric emergency care)\n
- BSN required\n
- Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license (must be active at submission)\n
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications\n
- Flu vaccine required\n
- Ability to work every other weekend and 1 winter + 1 summer holiday\n
- Limited Requested Time Off (RTO) to meet department staffing needs\n
\n\nResponsibilities — Emergency Department RN Duties\n
- \n
- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in the Emergency Department\n
- Assess, triage, stabilize, and monitor patients — perform rapid assessment and prioritization in triage\n
- Administer medications, IV therapy and treatments as prescribed; assist with advanced interventions as needed\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, NP/PAs, respiratory therapy, lab, radiology) for optimal patient outcomes\n
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR)\n
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, trauma, critical situations and codes\n
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and ED protocols\n
