Position Overview
Seeking a Full-time mobile podiatrist to provide at-risk foot care and wound care services to patients in a home setting. This is a non-surgical position and requires travel in the greater Salt Lake area.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive foot examinations and assess patients' foot health
- Diagnose and treat various foot and ankle conditions, such as ingrown toenails, corns, calluses, and plantar fasciitis
- Develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Perform minor surgical procedures, such as toenail removal and wound care
- Educate patients on proper foot care techniques and preventive measures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay current on the latest developments in podiatric medicine through continuing education and professional development opportunities
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution
- Current state license to practice podiatry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working in community health or home care settings is preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Experience in wound care, Wound care Certification, experience with providing in-home services/ mobile care
- Reliable transportation
