Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our office. This role plays a key part in ensuring a productive and efficient work environment by managing schedules, coordinating logistics, maintaining records, and serving as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:

- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
- This position is 5 days onsite in Washington D.C.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in any field supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in relevant areas such as Accounting, Business, Communications, Finance, Information Systems, Management, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant administrative or office support experience.
- Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Comfortable working with office technology, scheduling systems, and communication platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and customer service orientation.
Preferred:
- Certified Administrative Professional (CAP), Administrative Assistant Certification (AAC), Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Associate, or equivalent.
- Note: Candidates may be allowed up to one (1) year to obtain certification if not currently held
Responsibilities:
- Maintain smooth office operations by managing supplies, correspondence, and a well-organized workspace.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for executives and team members.
- Draft professional reports, develop engaging presentations, and accurately manage filing systems and data entry.
- Serve as the first point of contact-greet visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc tasks, including the preparation of expense reports and departmental support (e.g., HR and Finance).
- Manage calendars effectively, send timely reminders, resolve scheduling conflicts, and handle routine email correspondence and general administrative duties.
